Personal Statement

I am a 5' vii'' long and triple leap competitor, as well equally a sprinter from Billings, MT. I will exist in the graduating class of 2014. I nourish Billings Due west High School where I accept competed at the varsity level of rails and field for three seasons and was named team MVP my freshman yr and outstanding jumper the last 3 years.  Heading into my senior season at Due west High School, I accept seven club rails and field seasons behind me while competing at the land, district and national levels.  I take received four national titles during my club seasons.  2 in the long jump and two in the triple jump.

Ideally, I would like to attend a schoolhouse with a great academic atmosphere.  I have no specific preference as to the location of the schoolhouse. I would like to exist autonomously of a program that I tin touch on immediately and be successful. I am an extremely hard worker and always looking to improve myself. I bring intensity and energy to every exercise and meet and am an intense and defended athlete. As of now, I am very interested in pursing my liberal arts major with an emphasis in didactics.

  • Training that involves working on plyometrics, strength and technique work specific to individual track events. Piece of work outs have included mini camps with elite athletes.

  • The program is extremely demanding lasting six weeks with workout sessions scheduled three times per week. Workouts will include, but are not limited to: plyometric drills, sprint drills, agility drills, reaction drills and strength training. The high speed treadmill will be used twice a calendar week for over speed training and running technique progression. Dartfish software will be used to analyze athletes throughout the program working on proper biomechanics concentrating on overall operation.
